The Story
One produced by Forstner's successor Jacoby Bender in the 1960s, and among Forstner's most popular models to this day, the flat link is one of our flagship bracelets. Maintaining its vintage character, having thin stainless steel links (in either polished/brushed or fully brushed finish), stretchy links behind the clasp to ensure a comfortable fit throughout the day (vintage versions were made entirely of stretchy links), and a pressed clasp, the flat link looks and wears like a dream. But unlike the vintage flat link, Forstner's current model is made with contemporary standards in mind, using solid 316L stainless steel links, solid fitted end links, and a single screw system for easy resizing, ensuring that while the bracelet keeps its vintage charm, it is nonetheless improved for durability, fit, convenience, and wearability.

IWC Mark XV.
Construction
Solid 316L stainless steel, including solid steel end piece. Links can be removed conveniently via a single-screw system. In addition, Forstner has added a set of spring-loaded "stretchy" links behind the pressure clasp - keeping with the vintage feel - to ensure that the bracelet will fit comfortably all day long, despite variations in temperature and weather.
