Forstner offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including any additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
To provide comfort regarding the quality of Forstner's products and customer service, Forstner offers a one year warranty covering defects caused during the manufacture of its products.

Forstner's warranty extends only to items purchased directly from Forstner. Items eligible for the warranty will be repaired or replaced (with the same item originally ordered) at Forstner's discretion, upon inspection. Items covered under the warranty policy may not be exchanged for a different item, returned, or refunded (for example, if an item is replaced, it may not later be exchanged for a different item). Returns and exchanges are governed exclusively by Forstner's Return/Exchange policies, which apply only to unworn/unused items.
Forstner's warranty does not extend to:
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear, or misuse;
- Water damage caused by using an item in a way in which it was not intended (for example, diving with a watch not rated for diving);
- Repairs to an item not made by Forstner's authorized service center.
Likewise, Forstner's warranty does not cover any damage to any non-Forstner product even if such damage occurred while using a Forstner product. By purchasing an aftermarket watch band, for example, you expressly acknowledge the risk of potential damage to your watch. We don't anticipate such damage, and stand by the quality of our products. However, it is possible and things can happen (e.g., spring bar malfunction due to incomplete securing of bars to lug holes, or clasp not joined properly). Use your common sense in the handling of Forstner's lovely products. Forstner's warranty will be voided by damage to your item after it leaves us by accidents, mishandling, abusive treatment, modifications, and repairs or tampering by unauthorized third parties.
Forstner's warranty is non-transferable and not applicable to any sales to businesses or re-sellers of watches.
Items may be returned for a full refund (minus shipping) within 14 days of receipt, if the following conditions are met. Your item must be in unused and unworn condition--that is, the same condition when it left Forstner. Eligible returns will be refunded via the original payment method. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
Used and/or worn items (including items that have been resized) are not eligible for a refund. Forstner will inspect your item upon receipt and issue the refund if it complies with the above conditions - items that do not comply may be eligible for a return for store credit in some circumstances - contact Forstner for more details. If not, the item will be sent back to the customer.
To complete your return, send us an email with the information regarding your order. If you do not email us ahead of time, you run the risk of your return not being processed.
Items can be exchanged for a different item within 14 days if the item is in unused and unworn condition--that is, the same condition when it left Forstner. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs (if any) for sending your item back to Forstner (see address above) for an exchange.
Late or Missing Refunds
If your return was accepted and you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your account again -- there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Gift cards are redeemable for products available for sale on this website. Gift cards may not be returned for cash value, and products purchased via gift card likewise are eligible for exchange only (or returned for store credit). The product being exchanged or returned must comply with the above-listed conditions in the return and exchange policy (that is, be in unused and unworn condition) to be eligible for such exchange or return for store credit.
Shipping and Delivery
- U.S. Shipping: We offer complementary shipping to all fifty U.S. states, and endeavor to ship within one business day after concluding the fraud detection process. Please note that this does not apply to pre-orders, as they obviously will be delayed until the items are stocked and ready to ship. We will do our best to keep everyone updated about the shipping time frame for pre-orders.
- International Shipping: International shipping is not complementary, and shipping rates and options will be presented during the ordering process (however, Forstner offers complementary international shipping for watches). If your order is shipped to a country outside the U.S., it may be subject to import duties and taxes assessed when the item arrives in your country. The fees (if any) assessed vary depending on the shipment's destination. Forstner is not responsible and has no control over any taxes applied to your package. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office or find your country's policy via their official customs website for further information.
- Items May Be Shipped Separately: If an order contains multiple items, Forstner may ship those items separately if necessary.
All items purchased are made pursuant to a shipment contract, which means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery of the item to the carrier. If the item is damaged during shipment, immediately raise the concern with the carrier, as Forstner is not responsible for such damage.

In person, the products may vary slightly from reference images (for example only, the conditions in person may differ from the specific conditions and lighting scenarios when the images were taken).
